The information below contains policies and client expectations & guidelines we have in place for our massage practice. Please read carefully before booking
Booking Policy
We are an appointment only clinic, we don't take walk-ins. All online bookings require a 50% deposit, the deposit is non-refundable if you no-show or cancel/reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours notice. For clients who have been to our practice and our regular clients, you are not required to pay a deposit to book, please DM me via Instagram or email me to book an appointment. However, clients who have no-showed or cancelled/rescheduled with late notice before, must pay a 50% deposit to book an appointment.

You will receive a confirmation and reminder 48 hours before your upcoming appointment. This allows you ample time to cancel/reschedule without your deposit being forfeit.

To provide you the best and safest care as possible, all new clients and clients who haven't been to our practice, are required to fill out a consultation form prior to their appointment. This form is essential for insurance and liability purposes, reviewing your medical history and any current health conditions, ensuring you understand the potential risks and benefits of massage therapy, and outlining our clinic guidelines, policies and expectations. By filling out this form in advance, you help us tailor your session to your specific needs and ensures a smooth, professional experience.

We have a HICAPS machine in clinic, so if you have a private health fund and are covered for remedial massage, please bring it to your appointment to claim on the spot. Otherwise, we will send you a health fund receipt for you to claim online.

Cancellation and no show policy
We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Clients who cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, and clients who don't show up to their scheduled appointment, will not be refunded their 50% deposit. We understand that verifiable emergencies and illnesses can occur so the cancellation fee will not apply, however, this is to be determined by the practitioner's discretion.

Massage Termination
Only professional massage and body work services for relaxation and therapeutic purposes are offered at this massage practice. Massage services will be terminated immediately in the event of inappropriate conduct of any kind. This includes harassment, threatening speech or behaviour, sexual advances or requests or disrespectful actions or language. A session will not be conducted if the client is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. If the massage is terminated for any of these reasons, full payment for the scheduled session is still required.
Late arrival policy
All scheduled appointments will end at the scheduled ending time in order for us to stay on schedule. Clients who arrive late to their appointment will be charged for the full session and will not receive a time extension. For your first appointment, please arrive 5-10 minutes earlier to find us and fill out a new client consultation form. If you know you will be running late, please notify us by direct messaging us on Instagram (@halcyon_massage) or messaging me at my mobile number which is given to you via email when you make a booking
Draping Policy
Clients will be appropiately draped with a sheet and/or towel at all times during their massage. Only areas of the body that are currently being treated will be exposed. The breast and genital areas will always remain draped and are never massaged.
