The information below contains policies and client expectations & guidelines we have in place for our massage practice. Please read carefully before booking

Appointments

We are an appointment only clinic, and do not accept walk-ins.

Bookings & Deposits

A 50% deposit is required for all new client bookings made online. This deposit is non-refundable if you do not attend your appointment or provide less than 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.

Returning clients may request to book without a deposit by contacting us directly via Instagram, email, or text. However, clients with a history of late cancellations or no-shows will be required to pay a 50% deposit to secure future appointments.

You will receive a confirmation and reminder 48 hours prior to your appointment to allow time for any changes.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.

Changes made with less than 24 hours notice will result in the loss of your deposit.

Late arrivals

If you arrive late, your treatment time may be reduced to avoid impacting other clients. The full appointment fee will still apply.

Consultation Form

All new clients and clients who haven't attended recently, are required to fill out a consultation form prior to their appointment.

This ensures safe and effective treatment, by allowing us to review your medical history, current health conditions and treatment goals. It also ensures you understand the potential risks and benefits of massage therapy and outlines clinic expectations.

Draping Policy

Professional draping is used at all times during treatment to ensure your comfort, privacy and dignity. Only the area being treated will be uncovered.

Personal Belongings Policy

While reasonable care is taken within the clinic, Halcyon Massage doesn't accept responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of client's personal belongings on the premises.

Massage Termination Policy

We provide only professional massage and bodywork for relaxation and therapeutic purposes.

Treatment will be stopped immediately if there is any inappropriate behaviour including harassment, threatening behaviour, sexual advances or requests, or disrespectful language or actions.

Sessions will also not proceed if a client is under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

If a session is terminated for any of these reasons, the full appointment fee will still apply.

Health Fund Claims

HICAPS is available for on-the-spot health fund claims. If your fund doesn't support HICAPS or you're unable to claim in clinic, a receipt will be provided for online submission.

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
